I owned a 2004 World cat 270 HTS, with Volvo diesels. I recently got rid of it and have been looking at a Maxweld Maxcat, made in Oregon, and I have to say that the Maxweld is hands down far superior in everyway to the World Cat. Construction, performance, reliability, ride, design, and the manufacturer definitely stands behind the Maxweld product. Spoke to numerous owners and they all say the same thing , that Maxweld takes care of their customers. Unlike my experience with my former boat manufacturer.

If you are looking for the best built, most rugged catamaran around then forget all the others and go look at a Maxweld. No more stress cracks in the fiberglass, my boat was riddled with them and only 150 hours on the boat, and no worries about wimpy fiberglass. Check em out!
